Andante Molto is an exciting new European
Progressive Metal band with English and French origins. Influences extend
from Jazz and Classical music through to Progressive Metal with bands such
as Yngwie J Malmsteen, Stratovarius, Symphony X, Dream Theater, and Shadow
Gallery.
The band's own music is fuelled by the contrast between complicated rhythms and different time signatures through to melodic guitar lines inspired very much by early Malmsteen. The band also isn't scared to pass through operatic and flamenco themes as well as slowing the pace down to that of an atmospheric ballad.
2007 will see the release of a demo EP based on these contrasting styles. Preparations are well underway for recording the demo and band members are currently being recruited to complete the line up.
